1916 Lord Kitchener deeds not words memorial tin button badge

A scarce First World War period celluloid tin button badge, sold in aid of the war fund, in the form of a black and white photograph of "Lord Kitchener" with black border, with title legend "Deeds Not Words 1916". Good condition, retaining original pin fitting, minor surface scratches, some nicks and rust to reverse.
Diameter 34mm.

Lord Kitchener died in 1916 near the Orkney Islands, Scotland, when the warship taking him to negotiations in Russia was sunk by a German mine.
