BOAC Airline 1958 hallmarked silver twenty five years service badge

A fine quality 'British Overseas Airways Corporation small silver lapel badge', awarded for twenty five years service, a griffin surmounting a shield bearing Roman numeral "XXV" and inlaid with blue enamel; the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1958 and maker's details "M.T.C" possibly (Morton T Colver Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original buttonhole fitting, enamel perfect, an excellent example.
