Masonic St. Andrew's Lodge No 4655 Founder Jewel
A fine quality scarce 'Masonic Founder Jewel' for the 'St. Andrew's Lodge No 4655', an ornate jewel bearing a superb enamelled 'Saint Andrew's Cross' mounted with square and compass, above the title scroll of the lodge and below the Latin phrase 'Ora et Labora' (pray and work) both inlaid in deep blue enamel, the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1924, and London and Brighton maker's details "FFL". Excellent condition, retaining original silk ribbon with 'Star of David' device and suspension bar with pin fittings, perfect enamel, complete with original gilt finish, service wear to ribbon.
