Pan American World Airways button hat badge circa 1940s

A good original circa 1940's period 'Pan Am small badge' believed to be a button from an officer's cap; gold plated example, depicting an enamelled globe within a wreath, the reverse with single screw post and large circular fixing nut. Good condition, minor service wear to the enamel.
