Harrogate & District General Hospital 1956 silver badge by Garrard

A very fine quality 'Harrogate & District General Hospital named nurse's badge', the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1956, maker's details "G & Co Ld" in trefoil (Garrard & Co London) the Crown Jewellers, and inscribed "Beatrice Adelaide Winstone-Ball" "4-10-53 - 3-10-56". Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch, enamel perfect and still retaining original light gilt finish.
