British Red Cross Society hat badge

A good early period other ranks hat badge, red cross shield within a gilt circular title "British Red Cross Society" above tri-part Latin scroll "Inter Arma Caritas" (In War, Charity). Very good condition, retaining original two pairs of blade fittings, perfect enamel, an excellent example.
