Boys Brigade arts & crafts proficiency badge & advanced certificate

A good original circa 1951 'Boys Brigade Arts & Crafts proficiency' die-cast nickel badge in the shape of an artist's palette with smooth background, hatched Bs and original vertical double coiled squeezed joint pin fitting and hooked catch. Very good condition and retaining white felt cloth backing, no sign of any moth, an excellent example.
Height 29mm.

The white felt cloth 'Advanced Certificate Award' was introduced in 1951.
