National Union of Sheet Metal Workers & Braziers trade union badge

A scarce early circa 1920's 'National Union of Sheet Metal Workers & Braziers' trade union badge; circular gilded brass example with title circlet inlaid with blue enamel, the centre depicting hammer and tongs symbol within a laurel wreath, upon a white enamel ground, the reverse with maker's details "Vaughtons Ltd B'Ham". Very good condition, retaining original buttonhole fitting, gilt remains bright, no damage to the enamel, minor stain to reverse, an excellent example.
