WW1 Glasgow & South Western Railway war service badge

A scarce First World War period 1914-1918 gilt and enamel circular badge, "Glasgow & South Western Railway" blue enamel title around the border, Crowned "Railway Service" to the centre on white enamel ground, the reverse with maker's details "J.A.Wylie & Co" and engraved with official low issue number "W" "1452". Very good condition, retaining original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, gilt remains fresh, an excellent example.
