WW1 YWCA munitions canteens voluntary war service badge

A scarce original First World War period 'Voluntary War Service Y.W.C.A. Munitions Canteens circular silver plated badge' suspended from a one year suspension bar, the centre bearing the "Young Women's Christian Association" symbol an inverted triangle with 'Y.W.C.A' title inlaid with blue and black enamel, set upon white enamel ground, the reverse with maker's details "Thomas Fattorini Bolton. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel remains undamaged, minor service wear to plating.
