BOAC Airline 1966 hallmarked gold twenty five years service badge

A fine quality 'British Overseas Airways Corporation gold badge', for twenty five years service, a griffin surmounting a shield bearing Roman numeral "XXV" inlaid with blue enamel and applied to a bar, the reverse bearing Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1966 and maker's details "M.P". Fair condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch, enamel perfect, minor surface scratches, both rear legs of griffin fractured.
