BOAC Airline 1970 hallmarked gold brooch in original case

A fine quality 'British Overseas Airways Corporation gold brooch', 'Speedbird' emblem inlaid with blue enamel within an 'Astral Crown' oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1970 and maker's details "M.P". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch, enamelling perfect, contained in its original presentation case with logo to the lid.
