WW1 Durham BRCS & Order of St John overseas war service badge

A scarce First World War period 'Durham St John Ambulance War Service gilt and enamel badge', depicting the emblem of the joint war organisation the 'British Red Cross Society & Order of St John', the reverse impressed with official issue number "4740". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
