BOAC Airline silver metal & gold bullion officers cap badge

A scarce early 'BOAC cap badge', finely detailed silver plated griffin on torse, within a gold bullion oak wreath surmounted by an astral crown, the reverse with paper covered black hessian backing. Good condition, minor dulling to bullion.
