A rare original circa 1940's period 'Shipping & Coal Co. Ltd' cap badge, red and blue striped silk embroidered company 'House Flag' with white diamond to the center and letters 'SCC', upon a gold wire bullion wreath surmounted by a metal fouled anchor, the reverse with black herringbone weave cotton backing. Good condition.
