RAF No 11 Fighter Squadron Royal Air Force Badge circa 1940's.

A good original period gilt and enamel badge, depicting two eagles in flight and Latin motto "Ociores acrioresque aquilis" (Swifter and keener than eagles), the reverse without maker's details but with original pin fittings conducive to the maker "H.W.Miller Ltd". Very good condition, no damage to the enamel, an excellent example.
