WW2 RAF Spitfire Fighter Plane wing badge made from salvaged metal

A very unusual and artistically designed Second World War period 'Royal Air Force large pilot's wing badge' cut and chased from a piece white metal and supporting a spitfire aircraft stick pin made from silver coin, this being movable and can point in a number of directions. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings.
