Stockton Cycling Club 1899 Hm silver membership badge

A rare original Victorian 'Stockton Cycling Club badge', depicting the Coat of Arms of Stockton-on-Tees an anchor and castle within a title strap and "1878" the year that it was established, the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1899 and maker's details "Vaughton Birmm". Good condition, retaining original pin fitting, an old replacement hook that has been glued, no damage to the enamel, minor sevice wear.
