Kingston Infirmary nurses league hospital badge

A scarce Edwardian 'Kingston Infirmary Nurses' League bronze badge', both sides embossed with early maker's details "Vaughton Birm", depicting a shield surmounted by a Crown, one half bearing the former Arms of Guildford and the other with the three Seaxes of Middlesex County, together with the motto of the league "Alterum alterius auxilia egit” (The one needs the help of the other) and "K.I.N.L" title suspension bar. Very good condition, retaining original pin fitting with old replacement hook.
