Army School of Psychiatric Nursing Netley Military Hospital Badge

A silver plated badge with green enamel oval title 'Army School of Psychiatric Nursing' enclosing a Queen's Crown atop the Chapel tower at Netley Hospital, a purpose built military hospital based in Hampshire and once the home of the Army Psychiatric Unit from the 1950s to 1978. Very good condition, original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch, no damage to the enamel, slight discolouration to reverse.
Height 40mm.
The Psychiatric unit moved to the Queen Elizabeth Military Hospital in Woolwich around 1978.
