WW1 Royal Flying Corps Monoplane 1917 silver enamel badge

A rare original First World War Royal Flying Corps translucent enamel monoplane badge, the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1917 and maker's details "G.L" (George Loveridge, Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fitting and propeller, the enamel good but there is two stress marks and a minute nick to the enamel or manufacturers flaw where the body meets the tail.
