Cardiff Infirmary nurses hospital badge

A scarce circa 1895 to 1911 'Cardiff Infirmary' gilt and enamel nurses badge, the reverse bearing a raised facsimile signature of 'Constance Aberdare'. Very good condition, complete with original silk ribbon and 'Lady Aberdare League' suspension bar with pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
Height 98mm.

Cardiff Infirmary 1895 - 1911 after that it was known as the 'King Edward VII Hospital' becoming the 'Cardiff Royal Infirmary' in 1923.
