A scarce original pre-1928 'Eastern Counties Cycling Association' brass lapel badge, bearing three enamelled shields with the Arms of Essex, Hertfordshire and the City of London, the reverse with maker's details "Thomas Fattorini Ltd Hockley St Birmingham" (1919-1928), impressed with registered design and patent number "Rd 632819" for the year 1914. Good condition, retaining original pin fittings, minor service wear to the enamel.
