Aircraft Worker Airco De Havilland style propeller badge

A scarce original First World War period 'Aircraft Worker large gilt on war service badge' inlaid with dark blue enamel, the reverse impressed with registered design and patent number "Rd 662525" for the year 1918, worn as a means of identification by an employed worker building aeroplanes for the RFC (Royal Flying Corps) during the First World War. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings and undamaged enamel, gilt remains bright.
