Salvation Army Service In The Great War 1920 Silver Tribute Medal

A rare original Salvation Army medal given for service in the First World War, the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1920, maker's details "F&S" (Fattorini & Sons) stamped in relief "From General Bramwell Booth" and inscribed "Capt.M.Godfray", the original inscription having been erased. Very good condition, original silk ribbon with safety pin fitting, no damage to the enamel.
