Edward VIII 1937 Coronation Bronze Medal
A good quality scarce Edward VIII light bronze medal, produced for the proposed Coronation in 1937 that never took place. The obverse with Crowned bust right and title "Edward VIII King And Emperor", the reverse an allegorical figure of Britannia standing frontal, holding crown within a portico, River Thames, St Paul's Cathedral and battleship in the foreground, title "Crowned A.D. 1937. Good condition, complete with original ribbon and Crowned suspension bar with single pin fitting.
