Glasgow Hospitals auxiliary association badge

A good post 1948 gilt and enamel badge, Saint Andrew's cross with the letters 'GHAA' between the arms, all within an oval title 'Glasgow Hospitals Auxiliary Association'. Good condition, original pin fittings, minor service wear to the enamel.
Height 38mm.
The Glasgow Hospitals Auxiliary Association was formed in 1948 to carry on the tradition of hospital voluntary work in the new National Health Service, members provided extra comforts to sick patients in hospital.
