BOAC Airline air stewardess gold bullion hat badge

A scarce original 1939 -1974 'British Overseas Airways Corporation' early air hostesses BOAC hat badge, gold wire bullion on raised navy blue felt, black felt cloth backing, uncut as manufactured and never worn, possibly a trial pattern, the reverse with the remains of paper stuck to the back. Very good condition, bullion a little toned.
