Proposed Edward VIII 1937 Coronation gilt lapel badge

A good quality scarce Edward VIII gilt lapel badge, produced for the proposed Coronation in 1937 that never took place. The obverse with Crowned bust left and title "Edward VIII King and Emperor", the reverse with maker's details "J.Pinches London". Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, gilt remains bright, an excellent example.
