Maidenhead Hospital Berkshire nurses badge c1940s

A scarce silver plate and blue enamel example, very good condition, original pin fittings, incorporating safety catch, no damage to the enamel.
Height 36mm.
Founded in 1879 as the Maidenhead Cottage Hospital, St Luke's Road, Norfolk Park, changed name to Maidenhead Hospital in the late 1920's, closed in 1974.
