WW1 Almeric Paget Military Massage Corps nurses title badge

A rare gilt and yellow enamel example, very good condition, original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.

Almeric Paget Massage Corps founded in August 1914. Following the unit’s huge success it was greatly expanded and the title “Military” added by the War Office in December 1915. At the end of the War, in January 1919 it was renamed “The Military Massage Service”.
