Boys Brigade silver Tie pin badge

A rare original Victorian 1899 period 'Boys' Brigade gentleman's cravat pin', in the form of a fine quality small shield depicting the pre-union 'Sure Stedfast' anchor; the reverse impressed with Chester silver hallmarks for 1900 and maker's details 'J & RG' (Joseph & Richard Griffin, Birmingham). Good condition, complete with original single spiral turned pin fitting, minor service wear to the enamel.
