Southend-On-Sea General Hospital nurses pair of badges

A scarce pair of badges awarded to Staff Nurse, Katherine M.Jones, the first badge awarded is bronze and is inscribed Katherine Jones. September 1938 December 1941. the other is unmarked silver and is embossed to the reverse 'The Saunders Medal' and is inscribed on the suspension bar 'S/N Katherine M.Jones' this housed in its original John Pinches leather fitted case. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings.
