1917 Knockaloe prisoners of war POW Isle of Man bone art candlesticks

A rare original First World War period amazing pair of candlesticks, made from animal bone and skillfully carved by a German prisoners of war with rose floral decoration in relief within patterned borders, two panels to reverse of each inscribed 'Knockaloe 1917' and 'From OHB'.
